• A benefit company is not a non-profit. Non-profit companies are organisations that aim to generate a positive environmental and social impact, but do not have an economically sustainable business model;
• A benefit company does not have to be B Corp certified. Obtaining the B Corp certification implies an additional level of assessment of the positive impact generated by a company on the environment and people.
