How does zeroCO2 corporate reforestation work?

The zeroCO2 corporate reforestation process follows 4 phases: 1) Briefing: define CSR objectives, budget, location preference, preferred species and naming. 2) Setup: contract, KPI definition, timeline, communication plan. 3) Planting: planting with native species by local farmers supported by zeroCO2. 4) Monitoring & Reporting: satellite dashboard with real-time updates, Plan Vivo certificates, annual ESG reporting for stakeholders. Projects are verified ex-post (after planting) with high-resolution satellite imagery and periodic field visits.

How do I create my corporate forest?

There are two ways: 1) Online self-service: directly from the platform shop, up to 1,000 trees, payment via Stripe (credit card or bank transfer). 2) Custom project: contact the zeroCO2 team for a bespoke project with dedicated support — minimum 250 trees, payment via bank transfer. In both cases an electronic invoice is issued after purchase.

What do I receive after purchasing my corporate forest?

After purchase you get access to the zeroCO2 platform with: 1) Customisable public landing page with company logo and details; 2) Forest growth monitoring with periodic photographic updates and satellite imagery (Google Earth); 3) Dashboard with impact overview in charts and statistics; 4) Redemption code management to share trees with stakeholders; 5) Communication media kit with ready-to-use photos, videos and copy for all channels; 6) Embeddable iframe for your company website.

All data is publicly accessible on the dashboard. It is also possible to visit your forest in person — just notify the zeroCO2 team in advance.

What are the social co-benefits of zeroCO2 reforestation projects?

zeroCO2 projects generate Plan Vivo certified verified social co-benefits: direct economic support to farming families in Guatemala, Tanzania, Italy, Argentina and Peru; women's empowerment (many farmers are women); sustainable agricultural training in agroforestry, soil conservation and water management; food security through complementary fruit trees; community development funding for schools, drinking water and infrastructure. Planting trees supports people.

We always place people at the center of our projects. In every country we operate in, local communities take care of the trees we plant and benefit from the fruits they produce, enjoying both economic and feeding support.

Choosing to plant a corporate forest is a forward-looking initiative that creates long-lasting social impact. We turn on the engine of sustainable development: education. We train farmers across all our projects to provide them with the tools to subsist and thrive over time.

We choose science over opinions.

Our projects are developed in areas of the world where deforestation has progressively dried up soil. Our agronomists and forest engineers always assess the soil condition before planting and carefully select only native species of trees.

Trees absorb CO2 and produce oxygen through photosynthesis, providing a range of benefits for the health of the planet and people. By choosing a project that includes forest and fruit trees, your company can contribute to rebuilding ecosystems in areas at risk of desertification, restoring value to the land and safeguarding the biodiversity of the local flora and fauna. Many companies have already chosen us to start their projects in different areas of the world, what are you waiting for?

A forest means real impact.

Creating a corporate forest generates real impact on communities and the environment. Our approach to reforestation is authentic and goes against all simplification. Inspired by primitive forests, we aim to regenerate complex ecosystems while respecting local biodiversity and triggering a virtuous circle that involves entire social and economic systems.

How do we do this? First, we involve people. When local communities are part of the decision-making process, in planting and managing forests, reforestation finds its greatest value responding to the local needs and knowledge. This ensures that solutions are adapted to a specific context and are sustainable over time.
On the other hand, we choose trees by promoting the diversity of plant and animal species: our reforestation process aims to restore native ecosystems and preserve the biological richness of the areas where we work. In addition to this, we strive to create positive social and economic impact for the affected communities. We create job opportunities, support the development of sustainable activities based on forest management and ease the empowerment of local communities to become self-sufficient and resilient. Last but not least, we are transparent: we allow you to track the progress of your project by sending reports and granting you online access to our web-app.

How can I share my forest with my stakeholders?

Sharing your forest with your stakeholders is very easy, you just need to use the redemption codes. You can manage them yourself from your personal area on our platform. With a redemption code you invite one of your stakeholders to adopt a tree, becoming a co-owner of your forest.

After redeeming a tree, a user can access the platform from which they can monitor the impact generated by the adopted tree and the forest it belongs to.

Is your service transparent? Will my forest be tracked? Can I visit my forest?

Transparency is precisely what sets us apart. All our reforestation work is visible thanks to high-resolution satellite images on Google Earth. You can look for yourself from our platform.

If a digital view is not your cup of tea and you want to see your forest with your own eyes, that is also possible! All we ask is that you let us know beforehand so that we can anticipate your arrival at the agricultural cooperative or farming community that takes care of your forest.

Are there any limits on purchasing a forest online?

Online you can purchase from 10 to 1000 trees and pay through stripe by credit card or bank transfer. Otherwise, a customised project that requires the support of our team of experts must involve the purchase of at least 250 trees and can only be paid for by bank transfer.

How do I create my forest?

There are two ways to create your own corporate forest, both very easy.

1. You can create it yourself directly from the shop on our platform.
2. You can contact our team: a colleague will be happy to create a customised project with you to meet your needs.

In both cases we issue an electronic invoice after the purchase.
