He was traveling even before he started walking. A more sustainable future? He really believes in it. But he also thinks that it requires a huge amount of courage and good ingredients. He has decided to start from education and trees.
Virgilio Galicia
True to his roots and to his community, he deals with challenges with great enthusiasm. He likes to put himself out there. Research and studying define his daily objectives. Contemporary innovator of a land still to be explored.
Nicolò Pesce
“Pesce” in English means “fish”…Like a fish out of water! His ideal habitat are rocky mountain sides. Until not long ago, he was looking for a less polluted “planet B” with weaker gravity. Now he shares sustainability stories. His dream used to be to tame tigers. In the end he settled for Bamboo.
Miriam Rocca
High-altitude polyglot. She finds the world more beautiful when seen from a mountain peak, even better if snow-clad. With each of her actions she chooses to commit to snow also in 2050. She establishes partnerships to reach the peak of a sustainable future.
Amedeo Cavalleri
He believes that telling stories from behind a screen can really change things. For him, history helps us understand where we come from and where we are headed; This is key when dreaming of a more sustainable future.
Cecilia Monari
Always on the go, he had to give up his steam locomotive for a more eco-friendly vehicle. He loves field action and believes that only an ecosystem-based approach can lead to lasting change. His idea of sustainability is as circular as the wheels of his bicycle.
Giorgio Jaupi
He used to dream about traveling around the world on a regional train. He strongly believes that planting trees without knowing why and how is not reforestation but pure gardening. He is looking for solutions to climate change which focus mainly on people!
Silvia Martini
Extremely curious and on the lookout for new experiences, her journey develops between flavours and the environment. Passionate about cooking and human relations, she believes that union and respect are the right factors for the perfect formula. Skilled problem solver, call her Ms Wolf.
Darwin Eladio Morán Monterrozo
He lives his life with energy and delicacy. Trees are like old friends to him, and sprouts like younger brothers. His shyness makes him so perfectly reliable that you can give him one seed and he will turn it into a project.
Francisco Chì
Relationships builder. A steadfast soul which makes the team bigger and stronger. He shares his knowledge with pride and humility and produces widespread information with solid roots.
Raffaele Ventura
Never fully satisfied, he studies the social dilemma concerning the environment, climate changes and their impact on human beings. The solution to the dilemma is not yet in sight, but in the meantime he would like not to make it worse. Of one thing he is certain: plant trees!
José Manuel Colón Zarceño
His head is in the future and his hands in the present. He sees nuances of green with the eyes of someone who has read many books full of leaves and Latin names. The secret of his relentlessness? Where you see only a seed, he sees a plant.
Walter Aguilar
Motivation and group work are his daily fuel.
Step by step he aims at reaching one goal: ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION.
Bamboo
Big hearted sweet-eyed killer of flies. His favorite sport is catching treats on the fly. In his spare time, he dreams about achieving something… He still hopes he will grow into a tiger.
Our trees in the world
You can spot a zeroCO2 tree from miles away: It is the only one with the CHLOE tracking system, which allows to monitor the growth of each tree through a univocal code.

zeroCO2 is a social enterprise stemming from one of Comparte Onlus’ projects.
Comparte Onlus is a no profit association with the aim of promoting innovation in social and educational realms as well as cultural interchange, with special focus on the quality of education in Latin America.
